Bismarck rides power play to 6-3 victory over AlexandriaVFW Sports Center Sat, Feb 18, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
The Bismarck Bobcats took advantage of the Alexandria Blizzard's penalties with an effective power play and won, 6-3. Bismarck was led by Francis DeAugustine, who had one goal and one assist. DeAugustine scored on the power play 4:04 into the third period to make the score 4-1 Bismarck. The Bobcats had gained a power play chance when Matt Youso was whistled for grabbing face mask. Alexandria was led by Nick DAvolio, who finished with one goal and one assist. DAvolio scored 10:18 into the third period to make the score 5-2 Bismarck. Michael Mooney provided the assist. Alexandria additionally got points from DAvolio, who also registered one goal and one assist. Craig Lindegard also scored for Alexandria. In addition, Alexandria received assists from Hayden Trupp, who had two. Tommy Burke made 26 saves for the Bobcats on 29 shots. Bismarck incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
