Anthony Stolarz recorded a shutout against the New Mexico Mustangs as the Corpus Christi IceRays picked up a 3-0 win.

Brandon Smith had a great game for Corpus Christi, netting two goals. Smith's tallies came at 9:56 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Corpus Christi and on the power play 8:13 into the third to make the score 3-0 Corpus Christi.

The IceRays excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. By firing 26 shots on goal, Corpus Christi exceeded the 21 shots it averages per game this year.

The IceRays stifled New Mexico's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
