The Pembroke Lumber Kings had trouble finding ways to stop the Ottawa Senators, which beat Lumber Kings, 5-1. Ottawa was led by Derek Brown, who grabbed one goal. The Senators managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Ottawa ended up below its season average of 19.0 penalty minutes per game.
