Paul Falco racked up one point to lead the Huntsville Havoc to a 5-1 victory over the Knoxville Ice Bears.

Huntsville got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Huntsville also got points from Dennis Sicard, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Chris Myers also scored for Huntsville. Other players who recorded assists for Huntsville were BJ Radovich, who had two and Jason Hill, Mike MacDonald, Ray Ortiz, and Martin Kubaliak, who contributed one a piece.

Knoxville's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Huntsville power plays. The Ice Bears were below their usual level of shot production, taking 19 shots compared to the 31.1 Knoxville averages. The Ice Bears did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Knoxville puts an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game.

The Ice Bears were led by Taylor Hustead, who scored the team's only goal. Hustead scored 1:58 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Tim Vitek picked up the assist.

The Havoc's Dan McWhinney stopped 18 shots out of the 19 that he faced. Huntsville ended with 21 minutes in penalty time with three minors and three majors. Dan Earles recorded 21 saves for Knoxville. The Ice Bears totaled 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and three majors and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
