The only thing better than having Matt Rodier in your lineup, is hiring a bulldozer to clear the slot area. Matt, who will turn 28 in the next winter, is one of the best at clearing the lane between the shooter and his netminder, and making would-be puck-tippers think twice before parking themselves in front of the McLuvins net. He’s a perennial plus-player, who despite gaining substantial playing time against the opponents’ top units, costs his team very few penalty minutes throughout the campaign.
