Fox Chapel - MS uses fast start to beat Norwin - MS, 13-1

A four-goal first period deficit cost Norwin - MS, which could not recover and fell to Fox Chapel - MS, 13-1.

Fox Chapel - MS got the win behind a great game by Brendan Gaffney, who had five goals and five assists. Gaffney's first goal came 5:33 into the first period. He then added goals at 10:06 into the first, at 8:27 into the second, at 1:20 into the third, and at 8:38 into the third.

Fox Chapel - MS forced Norwin - MS goalie Sam Coll to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots. Fox Chapel - MS bested its season scoring average. Fox Chapel - MS averages 6.1 goals per game.

Fox Chapel - MS also got points from Reed Troutman, who also had one goal and two assists, Duncan Regan, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Ricky Downig, who also registered one goal and two assists.
