Purdue Jr.'s big game bests Greensburg Salem in 9-2 Serra Catholic win

Serra Catholic's William Purdue Jr. had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing four assists in his team's 9-2 win over Greensburg Salem.

Purdue Jr. got on the board by slotting home a power play goal 15:05 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Serra Catholic. Serra Catholic had taken the advantage when Greensburg Salem's Logan Miller got sent off for slashing. Ryan Bennett picked up the assist. Purdue Jr. dished an assist on Jonathan Lesnak's goal that made the score 3-0 Serra Catholic at 5:24 into the second period. He then added assists on Zachary Zapata's goal at 6:52 into the second, on Lesnak's goal at 11:35 into the second, and on Zapata's goal at 13:15 into the second.

Greensburg Salem's power play was ineffective against Serra Catholic's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.
