Expansion continues as the League welcomes Carroll County's Westminster and Winters Mill boys programs while South Hagerstown returns on the girls side. That brings us to a record 91 teams competing in the League's 55th season.
South Hagerstown will compete in the Piedmont Division along with five other Washington County programs and Brunswick. They will then play in the "A" year-end tournament.
Proposed schedules are in the hands of all League directors and will be finalized by the first week of November. League play opens the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend and concludes with tournaments starting the last weekend in February.
All teams will play 16 regular season games, including home/away matchups against all divisional opponents. All will then participate in one of two ("AA" and "A") season-ending tournaments.
