WENATCHEE, Wash. - Three of Wenatchee's four Academy teams are enjoying a hard-earned Thanksgiving break this week, while the program's 14-and-Under team prepares to get busy on home ice.

Delta Hockey Academy snared two wins over Wenatchee on Saturday, with the 18U team falling 10-2 in British Columbia and the 16U team dropping a 6-1 decision. Ethan Barela bagged his first CSSHL goal to put the Wild Hockey Academy in front just 4:18 into the 18U game before Delta stormed back to take control of the game. Liam Craggan also notched a shorthanded goal four minutes into the second period. Delta took a 3-0 lead into the third period of the 16U game before Keagan Nussbaum lit the lamp for Wenatchee 4:44 into the final stanza.

The 15O, 16U and 18U Wild Hockey Academy teams all have this weekend off, while the 14U team faces off with the Portland Jr. Hawks and Kamloops Jr. Blazers on Friday and Saturday in the program's annual Junior Exposure Tournament. The three-team tournament will be played in a double-round-robin format, with each team playing two games on Friday and again on Saturday - the top two teams will face off one final time for the tournament championship Sunday morning. All morning games and afternoon games will be played on the main Town Toyota Center rink, while the evening games Friday and Saturday will be contested in the Weinstein Beverage Rink.
