2025 All-Florida League Teams Announced

SANFORD, Fla.- The pipeline of the Florida Collegiate Summer League is stronger than ever, as more than 80 former Florida Leaguers played affiliated baseball during the 2025 season. As the Major League season winds down and the Minor League season comes to a close, the Florida League will spotlight some of the top performers from the 2025 season in the MiLB ranks. The 12 spotlighted players are listed in alphabetical order.
Austin Amaral, Washington Nationals organization (2020 Sanford River Rats)- In his third season of professional baseball, Amaral advanced as high as double-A in the Nationals organization. The righthander was a trusted bullpen arm across three Nationals affiliates, allowing just 45 hits in 67.2 innings and posting a 2.39 earned run average.
Drew Cavanaugh, San Francisco Giants organization (2022-23 Leesburg Lightning)- The former Florida Southern catcher showed the best power numbers of his career in 2025, blasting 14 home runs and driving in 65 runs across four Giants affiliates. Cavanaugh appeared as high as triple-A during the 2025 season, and ended the 2025 campaign with a .398 on-base percentage and a .460 slugging percentage.
Brady Choban, Los Angeles Angels organization (2019 DeLand Suns)- An undrafted free agent out of the University of Rio Grande in Ohio, Choban has quickly risen up the ranks in the Angels organization. The former DeLand Sun star logged an earned run average of 2.64 across 39 appearances for the double-A Rocket City Trash Pandas, then made nine appearances with a 2.38 ERA for the triple-A Salt Lake Bees to finish the year.
Marco Dinges, Milwaukee Brewers organization (2022 Leesburg Lightning)- The first full season of professional baseball was a sensational one for the former Florida State Seminole. Dinges was a two-time Carolina League Player of the Week for the single-A Carolina Mudcats, then earned promotion to the high-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. The tenth-ranked prospect in the Brewers organization finished the season with a .300 batting average, belting 13 home runs and driving in 62.
Colby Halter, Athletics organization (2020 Orlando Scorpions)- Halter, who played in the Florida League as an incoming freshman in 2020, spent all of 2025 with the double and triple-A affiliates of the Athletics, playing much of the season with double-A Midland before an August promotion to triple-A Las Vegas. The Florida Gator reached base at a .364 clip, belting eight home runs with 62 runs batted in.
Tyson Hardin, Milwaukee Brewers organization (2022 Seminole County Snappers)- Hardin made 20 starts during the 2025 season, including eleven for high-A Wisconsin and nine for double-A Biloxi. The righthander struck out 95 hitters across 92.2 innings, posting a 2.72 earned run average. The 20th-ranked prospect in the Brewers organization flashed exceptional control during his first full season of pro ball, walking just 15 hitters in 92.2 innings.
Tommy Mace, Cleveland Guardians organization (2020 Orlando Scorpions)- Mace was one of the most dominant starters in the double-A Eastern League, holding opposing hitters to a .204 batting average across 102.1 innings for the Akron RubberDucks. Mace earned an August promotion to the triple-A Columbus Clippers, where he struck out 12 hitters in 11.1 innings.
Blake Money, Baltimore Orioles organization (2021 Sanford River Rats)- Money split his time in 2025 between high-A Aberdeen and double-A Chesapeake, striking out 142 hitters across 114.1 innings of work. The former LSU Tiger made 17 starts and eight relief appearances for the IronBirds and BaySox, and allowed less than one hit per innings for the second consecutive season.
Gabe Rincones, Philadelphia Phillies organization (2020 Leesburg Lightning)- Listed as the ninth-ranked prospect in the Phillies organization, Rincones is in line to be one of, if not the first player to wear a Lightning jersey to make the Major Leagues. Playing the entire 2025 season in triple-A, Rincones belted 18 home runs and drove in 70 runs for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, both of which marked career-highs in his three years of pro baseball.
Dylan Ross, New York Mets organization (2019 Leesburg Lightning & 2020 Seminole County Snappers)- Ross, a top 20 prospect in the Mets organization, has shot through the New York farm system, finishing the 2025 season with the triple-A Syracuse Mets. In 46 total appearances, Ross struck out 75 hitters across 50 innings of work, earning seven saves. His best baseball came in triple-A, where he allowed just ten hits across 28 innings, posting a 1.93 earned run average.
Tony Rossi, New York Yankees organization (2019-21 Sanford River Rats)- A three-year member of the Sanford River Rats, Rossi has made the most of his chances since signing a UDFA deal with the Yankees. In his first full season of pro baseball, Rossi recorded a 2.18 earned run average, striking out 64 hitters in 45.1 innings. The righty spent most of 2025 with the high-A Hudson Valley Renegades after dominating in five appearances for the single-A Tampa Tarpons.
Sterlin Thompson, Colorado Rockies organization (2020 Orlando Scorpions & 2021 Winter Park Diamond Dawgs)- A two-year Florida Leaguer and a top 20 prospect in the Rockies organization, Thompson spent all of 2025 with the Rockies' triple-A affiliate, the Albuquerque Isotopes. Thompson belted 15 home runs and drove in 58 runs, finishing the season with an OPS of .902.
Additionally, nine players from the Florida League ranks will continue their seasons into the fall, playing in the prestigious Arizona Fall League. Those players are Austin Amaral (2020 Sanford River Rats), Marco Dinges (2022 Leesburg Lightning), Dariel Fregio (2019 S.C. Snappers & 2021 W.P. Diamond Dawgs), Carlos Lequerica (2020 W.P. Diamond Dawgs), Fulton Lockhart (2024 Sanford River Rats), Carson Montgomery (2020 Winter Garden Squeeze), Nelly Taylor (2022 S.C. Snappers & 2023 Sanford River Rats), Najer Victor (2022 Leesburg Lightning), and Chay Yeager (2022 Sanford River Rats).
