(HAMILTON, OH)—The United States government has admitted we may have had contact with intelligent life from outer space. If these visitors are interested in studying humanity, they should start with Ohio’s Premier College Summer Baseball Team, the Hamilton Joes, as the five-time champions go for another title.

“All these big-shot, science and airplane dudes have finally said there is life in the stars,” said Joes General Manager Darrel Grissom. “And they keep referring to it as ‘Intelligent Life.’ So if these E.Ts and Marvin the Martians are truly intelligent, they’ll want to go where all the smart earth people go: Foundation Field to watch the Joes.”

The Joes begin a best of three series tonight in Xenia to determine the South Division champ. The teams will play game two Tuesday July 29, 7:05 when the Scouts visit Foundation Field. The winner of the series will advance to the championship round where they’ll play the North Division representative.

“Baseball is the thinking person’s game so it should be the thinking alien’s game as well,” Grissom said. “I believe these outer-space guys are pretty smart. For one thing, they’re up there buzzing around in flying saucers and zippy triangles. They’re not in traffic behind all the people sitting at green lights while they text, or those doing thirty in the fast lane, or folks driving with their knees ‘cause they got a half-pound burrito in one hand, a 64-ounce pop in the other and their phone wedged between their jaw and collarbone.”

Baseball fans from all over the galaxy can enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices when they take in a Hamilton Joes game. The Joes have an out of this world concession stand and souvenir shoppe.
