The 2025 NECBL All Star Game in Upper Valley, Vermont, has announced their rosters for the upcoming game.

The South Division roster includes three Blue Sox players, who will represent the team on July 20.

SELECTIONS

CP, Andrew Wertz: Wertz has earned the role of closing pitcher for the South Division this year, posting a dominant 0.59 ERA over 12 appearances. In these appearances, Wertz has allowed a total of only seven hits and one run. The closer has also struck out 23 batters.

SP, Gregory Shaw III: An NECBL All-Star for the Blue Sox a season ago, Shaw returns to the showcase of the leagues best for a second consecutive season. In six starts this year for Valley, Shaw compiled a record of 3-1. Shaw’s calm presence on the mound has resulted in a 2.03 ERA, striking out 23 batters compared to just 11 walks.

OF, Sebastian Mexico: Mexico joined the Blue Sox nearly a week after opening day, but made an immediate impact. The outfielder leads the NECBL in hits (37), is tied for the lead in home runs (6), ranks second in RBI (26) and fifth in average (.346). He’s known to put constant bats on balls, striking out only seven times in 107 at bats.

These three Blue Sox will showcase their skills with the league’s best on July 20 at 5:10 p.m.

The game is expected to be streamed to both ESPN+ and the NECBL Network.
