Clippers and Locos Ceasefire In Storm, Will Resume in Eighth Inning Tomorrow Before Series Finale

Muskegon, MI: After seven and a half innings of battle, Mother nature struck Marsh Field in the midst of a 7-6 Lima Loco (15-6) lead over the Muskegon Clippers (8-14) on Wednesday, July 2nd. The game will resume tomorrow prior to the playing of a now seven inning series finale.

 

Before the game was delayed for the night, the Clippers had pinch hitter Nolan Zajac in a 1-1 count with Joe Chrapliwy the runner at second and Casey Barnes the runner at first with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning. 

 

Tomorrow's originally scheduled game will be chopped to seven innings in order to accompany the get away day. 

 

Resume time for Wednesday will be at 5pm.
