Date: Apr 1, 2025
WENATCHEE, Wash. – The Wenatchee Wild and Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy, proud members of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL), are excited to announce that Hockey Director Troy Mick and 18-and-Under co-coach Jordan McTaggart will return for the 2025-26 season, the program’s third as a full CSSHL member.
Mick has been with the Wild organization since February of 2022, guiding the Academy into CSSHL membership ahead of the 2023-24 season and adding Washington state’s first USA Hockey-certified 15-Only program this season. Three of the Academy’s four Tier I national-bound teams earned spots in the USA Hockey Pacific District tournament at the end of February. McTaggart will head into his eighth season with the Academy, and will continue to serve the organization in other roles, including as the Academy’s travel coordinator.
The Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy is excited to welcome Troy Mick and Jordan McTaggart back to the Wild family for the upcoming year, and wish the Academy teams the best of luck as their 2024-25 seasons conclude.
