Mother's Day 2024 had 2 games played this weekend. Yankees and Sharks got a game in between the morning and evening rain on Saturday. night under the lights. The Reeders Rangers hosted the Valley Boys in Reeders PA on Sunday at 4:30PM. Of course mom's were all invited to come out and enjoy some baseball. Thanks Mom's!

On Saturday night May 11, under the lights, the AAA Yanks bested the AA Land Sharks 6-5 in a highly competitive crossover game. There was a good deal of discussion in the off season about the Sharks and moving into the Premier Division. Turns out they can compete at least with the AAA Yankees for 1 game. 

The AAA Division will crossover and play the North AA Division in 2024 giving teams from each division the opportunity to play vs a new opponent. "I think premier teams want to play the AA Division teams as much as it makes sense". Says President Ron Cahill. This was a difficult schedule but it was the right thing for the league in 2024.

The AA teams are very good and deserve the opportunity to compete at the highest level the league offers. As the season progresses t will be interesting to watch the games and see how they all fair against one another. Even thought it rained it's notable that these Managers and Players make the commitment on a holiday weekend with rain to get a game done.
