CCBC Week 3 Preview

After the completion of week two, here is a look into what you can expect in week three.

 

The first matchup this week takes place between the Fraser Valley Cascades and the VIU Mariners. This matchup is one to keep an eye on this week as it is our series of the week. The Cascades and the Mariners both are coming off of solid weeks after going 2-2 again. Both of these teams are tied in the standings and will look for their first series win this week.

 

The next series takes us to Kelowna where the Okanagan College Coyotes host the University of Calgary Dinos. The DInos are ready to Get back on the field after last week as all four of their games were canceled due to weather. They will be well rested and looking to try and take their first series win. The Coyotes will look to stay hot this week as they took three out of four games from Edmonton last week.

 

Our next series is between the Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs and the Edmonton Collegiate Hawks. After Battling with the weather last week and having all four games canceled, The Dawgs will be excited to be back on the field to host the Hawks as they look for their first series win. After losing three out of four games last week the Hawks will have another tough series this week as they look to bounce back.

 

Our Final series takes place in Kamloops as the Thompson River University Wolfpack host the Victoria Golden Tide. The Wolfpack will look to continue their early success this season as they come off of their first series win last week and will look to continue win at home. After splitting the series last week the Golden tide will look to try and make their way up the standings with a few wins this week.
