The Hellertown Yard Goats are grabbing some attention in the AA South Division with a first place hold and 9-2 record so far in 2023. The team is run by 2nd year head coach Nicholas Millets and he is learing quickly how to have a winning program. This weeks games features another tough opponent as the Lehigh Valley Marlins Managed by Austin Loy come to town. The Marlins on paper look to be one of the strongest teams in the AA DIvision but have dropped some close games this year. 

President Ron Cahill will be on air as well and looking forward to seeing the 2023 Yard Goats, "I've seen the Marlins this year and they played very well on that day. I know many of the players and they can compete with the best. I haven't had the opportunity to see the Yard Goats yet this year, but I'm excited to see this series"

This series is imporantant for the Yard Goats as they have command of the AA South Division right now and can extend there lead by two more games with a sweep of the Marlins. The upcoming schedule is tought to finish out the season as they play the Landsharks, Pirates, Valley Boys and Otters, all teams with winning records and fighting for a playoff spot.
