After a come back win by the U18 Kenora Thistles in game 1, the Thunder Bay Kings eventually prevailed 5-2 Sunday afternoon at the Moncrief Construction Sports Center (Kenora Rec. Center) to take the U18 title two games to one.

Thunder Bay will now be the northwestern Ontario representative for the Telus Western Regional championships in Warman, Saskatchewan.

The four-team tournament will include the winners of the U18 AAA leagues in Manitoba and Saskatchewan as well as the host team from Warman.
