Hawks fans, it's Wednesday night, it's March break, but most importantly, it is GAMEDAY!!!

     Tonight, your Trenton Golden Hawks are looking to take a strangle hold on the Cougars in the first round series, as they are currently up 2 games to 0.

     This series has been a real test to our guys' motivation, determination, and belief in each other.  In game 1 the fellas fought to a very tough 4-2 victory on home ice.  Game 2 was quite a different story however in Cobourg.  The Hawks trailed by 4 goals early into the first period, however, after a very timely timeout call by coach Dupont, which also saw a goalie change, your Golden Hawks stormed back, to score 7 straight goals, en-route to a 7-5 victory.

     It was clearly evident that our boys were out of sorts, running around, missing assignments early on, however, the boys recouped, stuck to the teams game plan, hit hard, put pucks to the net, came together as champions do, and finished real strong in game #2, and i feel that is how our boys need to start tonight's game 3, at home, on the smaller ice surface.

     As per usual, we will have lots of merchandise for sale, 50/50 will be available, the Kinsmen Club will be open, as will the canteen, and we will also have a silent auction and chuck a puck for the kids.

     Puck drop is at 7:30 tonight, so we hope to see you all there!
