The Trenton Golden Hawks and the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation have shared close ties for more than a decade. 

Volunteers, hockey fans, staff, players and the team stand hand-in-hand with our hospital, their staff, volunteers, and the TMH Foundation.

On Friday February 24th, against the Cobourg Cougars, the GHawks will host their annual TMHF Night at the Dunc.

Golden Hawks Director of Operations John McDonald says, “We could not be happier to support our wonderful hospital foundation.  The women and men that work at the hospital need our support and the patients that use this hospital need medical equipment.  Health care funding does not go towards medical equipment, so it is up to us.”

“The night will be presented by Electro Cables, who purchased the jerseys.  This means 100% of every cent of funds raised goes straight to TMHF,” continued McDonald. “Chandy Davis and her team not only support TMHF, but they also support countless other groups, charities, organizations and teams, like the Trenton Golden Hawks.”

Operations and Community Impact Specialist for the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation Lindsay Butcher Dodds says, “We are so grateful for support from the Trenton Golden Hawks. Time and time again they have supported T.M.H.F.  We are very excited for Hawks for Health Care at the Hangar, it is going to be a great night!"

McDonald added, “We could not be playing a more fitting opponent on the 24th.  The Cobourg Cougars reside in Northumberland County.  Upwards of 60 percent of Northumberland residents utilize Trenton Memorial Hospital as their hospital, even more would use Quinte Health hospitals (Belleville, Trenton, North Hastings, Prince Edward Memorial).”

The game will include a bedpan pass, a silent auction and more.  Each player will wear a special TMHF jersey, which will be auctioned off during the game.
