The Trenton Golden Hawks have made another deadline deal, which is expected to bolster their lineup.

Coach Jerome Dupont has announced the team has acquired Robbie Rutledge from the Charlottetown Islanders of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League of the CHL.

The Mississauga native had 6 points in 29 games this year in P.E.I.

During the 2021-22 season, Rutledge dominated with the Hearst Lumberjacks of the N.O.J.H.L, where he amassed 67 points in 46 games, including 39 goals.

Dupont says, "Robbie is a great two way player, he has strong hands, and can finish. He is a big body.  Rutledge was looking to play more and we are thrilled to have him."

Dupont says Rutledge will be in the lineup Sunday night, where the GHawks welcome the Aurora Tigers
