MPHL Announces New Teams for 2023-24 Season

The MPHL season kicked off last weekend with a showcase at Rice Memorial. Following the weekend the MPHL announced its players of the week. From Gilmour Academy, Nickoloas Sinani, the forward finished the weekend with two goals and an assist. From Lake Forest Academy, Tommy Enrietto, a forward who tallied two goals and three assists on the weekend. From Shady Side Academy, defenseman Luke Begg, Begg added a goal and two assists. St. Francis High School’s player of the week was goaltender Samuel Couture, who had an .879 SV% and a 2.67 GAA over the weekend. Upper Canada College had forward Louis-Charles Treblay named player of the week after scoring two goals and three assists. Rice Memorial forward Chris Sager earned the honor after recording a goal on the weekend. Bishops College School defenseman Martin Masa was named to the list after recording three assists over the weekend. Rothesay Netherwood School saw forward Riley Sampson earn a spot on the players of the week after scoring five goals and adding two assists. Defenseman Ford Boock scored one goal and four assists on his way to being named player of the week for Wyoming Seminary. Goaltender Marko Bilic from Ridley College finished the weekend with two wins, a .912 SV% and a 1.67 GAA.
