To Our Cobourg Cougars Community,

We would like to take a minute to thank all of you for your support and enthusiasm over this past season. Although we did not make it to the end, we appreciate your support to get us to where we did and end a very successful season! We are extremely proud of our accomplishments this year as a team and hockey community and how Cobourg and Northumberland truly rallied around and supported us throughout the season.

To the OJHL league and staff, thank you for working with us through this ever-changing covid time and enduring together. To our fans, thank you for coming out and supporting us at home games and being behind us from the beginning. It was such a joy to see the Cobourg Community Centre filled with young families, and old and new fans – we thank you for your continued support and support you have shown our players and team. We have been told that competing teams love to come to Cobourg to play us because of our fan experience, turnout and facility and we fully believe this to be true!

To our partners, the Town of Cobourg, and the Cobourg Community Centre staff, thank you for your dedication to the team and giving us a home. The ice and facility were perfect all year and your staff are a huge part of our team and our success.

To our billet families who take in our players and provide a home away from home. Your love and support are never ending, and we thank you for everything you do for the team and our players. We really have the best billet families!!

To our players, thank you for your hard work and dedication. We had an unforgettable run together this season! Your commitment to each other and to our community was present in everything you did. We cannot wait to see you return and what you have in store for us next season.

To our overagers, we wish you all the best of luck and success as you move onto the next stage of your hockey careers. Your leadership on and off the ice will be missed, but not forgotten. Congratulations on a great junior hockey career and we wish you nothing but future success.

To our staff and staff volunteers thank you for everything. Your tireless dedication has not gone unnoticed and your energy, enthusiasm, and passion for this team and our club are bar none. The success of this year would not have been possible without you.

As we move into the 2022-23 season, we know it will be exciting and our momentum will only continue. We are excited about the future as we dive into planning for the next year’s season and look ahead to Prospect Camp at the end of the month, Blue Rodeo on June 16th and our first Cobourg Cougars Kids Summer Hockey camp in July. The Future is bright, and it is only made brighter with partners and supporters like you all. It takes a community, and we think we have the best one out there!
