1. What does it mean to you to be the Buzzers Assistant Captain?
To be the Buzzers assistant captain is an honor, and something I take with great confidence. To me it means to be someone looked upon by the team for help whether that be on the ice or off. We have a lot of young players coming into this season and being a part of this leadership group means that we need to lead by example and that is something I plan on doing whether that be at practice, in a game, or even when we are out as a team. Off the ice we are a very close team, something to proud of, and myself along with the rest of our leadership group want to make sure everyone feels welcome and at home.
2. What are your team and personal goals this season?
I think as a team we all have the same goal, and that is to make a deep playoff run. Coming into this season everyone understood that we had unfinished business after the 2019-20 season, and we are going to go into every game with that mindset. My personal goals are to be a difference maker, not just in games but in practice too. It is important that we bring our all to the rink everyday and I want to be the guy that gets that ball rolling. As this being my last year of junior hockey I want to make that deep playoff run and hopefully end my junior career with a championship.
3. What is in your immediate future after the Buzzers?
After this season with the buzzers I will be continuing my studies whether that be at college or university, and I also hope to be playing hockey where ever I attend.
4. What are you doing 10-15 years from now?
10-15 years from now i hope that I will still be involved with the game of hockey. I hope to be doing something I love and that makes me happy most importantly.
