1. What does it mean to you to be a Buzzer and the only underager last season?
Although we did not play any games, last season was a big year for my development. Being the only underager gave me the opportunity to learn from older players and get used to the pace of Jr A hockey.
2. What are your team and personal goals this season?
I believe our goal as a team is to win our division and ultimately a league championship this year. We have a tight knit group who is driven to improve every week, and I feel we have a lot of room to grow. As for myself, I feel like I am ready to play a big role in our team’s success. I plan on doing as much as I can to improve my game in practice in order to be my absolute best in games.
3. You are committed to Maine for 23-24. How did you choose Maine and what attracted you there?
From the moment I began talking to the coaches at Maine, I knew they were building something I wanted to be a part of. Coach Barr and Coach Fortier made it an easy choice for me. I am honoured that they believe in me as a player and a person.
4. You are a legacy Buzzer, playing after your dad Joe’s being a long term Buzzer staff member. What does that mean to you?
Some of my earliest memories are from watching Buzzers games. Since I can remember, a dream of mine has been to wear the “M” on my chest. For that to finally come true means so much to me, and I want to make the most of every day I have as a Buzzer.
