PICKERING-  The Pickering Panthers have agreed to terms with Toronto Forward Alexander Papaspyropoulos for the 2021-2022 Season. Alex coming off the Covid year intending to play for U18 Toronto Titans, but after an impressive camp, Rob Pearson and Scott Nicholson offered him a spot on the Opening Day Roster for the Season. " To be honest we knew of Alex, he had a good minor midget season with North York, but this just proves that if you come to a development camp and prove yourself, you may earn a spot, he literally gave us no choice, "Assistant General Manager Scott Nicholson remarks. " Very happy to have him he's 200 foot forward with some  grit and nastiness every team needs."

Alex will be wearing number 77 this year, last worn my Panthers' most recent captain Braydon Leeking where Leeking had 27 points in 44 games in his last Junior A Season.
