About CP: Cerebral Palsy is a term used to describe a group of disorders affecting body movement and muscle coordination. It is not considered as a curable condition and the word management is used more often than treatment. One of our Chiefs bantam coaches has a 14 year old son, affectionately known as 'B', with CP. Over the years B has had countless surgeries and requires constant help to stretch his muscles. Yet to meet him, he has an infectious smile and a laugh that will make you smile. Without realizing it B has made so many others lives better. He has shown us what really matters, how to overcome difficulties, push through pain and tough times and all with a smile on his young face. Winning ball games and tournaments are fun but if we could be half the person that B is, we'd have a better perspective on the big picture.
