SPEARFISH, S.D. -- Tonight the Sasquatch earned a bounce-back win that was much needed. The Sasquatch defeated the Spuds, 11-2.

The Spuds would be the first to strike, bringing in two runs to take the lead. After a short weather delay, it would be Theo Hardy hitting a sacrifice fly to bring the score 2-1. Matt Crossley would tie the game shortly after with an RBI single. The Squatch would put up nine more runs throughout the game and shut out the Spuds with spectacular pitching.

Jack VanDoran was tonight’s standout pitcher, pitching in only three innings but striking out four batters. Rey Lazono would pick up the win after coming back from an injury. Nico Saldias was our starting pitcher, throwing two strikeouts in five innings.

Crossley went a perfect 3-3 hitting on the night and dialed in an RBI. Charles McAdoo would also be a spark the offense needed, driving in three RBIs.

The Sasquatch will take on the Spuds, July 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the Black Hills Energy Stadium.
