The Cobourg Cougars of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) are proud to announce that the program has signed 2004-born forward Calem Mangone of the Soo Jr. Greyhounds U18. 

"We are beyond excited to have received a commitment from Calem," said Head Coach and Assistant General Manager Wes Wolfe. "His skill, creativity, and vision are the first thing you notice, but what sets him apart from his peers is his competitive spirit and work ethic. It is obvious how committed Calem is to achieving his goals by the amount of passion and positivity he brings to his approach. He is an impressive young man."

In 2019-2020 with the Greyhounds Mangone recorded 24 points (13G, 11A) in 27 games and was the captain of the Greyhounds squad. Calem was selected 2nd overall by the Saginaw Spirit in the 2021 OHL U18 Priority Selection this past week.
