The Cobourg Cougars of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) are pleased to announce that the program has hired Connor Cadaret as the team's Assistant Coach. Connor joins the Cougars having spent last season as an Assistant Coach with the Stouffville Spirit.

In addition to his work with the Spirit, Connor served as the Competitive Program Coordinator with the Whitchurch-Stouffville Minor Hockey Association (WSMHA), having coached with the WSMHA since 2016. This season Connor served as Head Coach of the U9 AA Whitchurch-Stouffville Minor Hockey Association team, giving back to the community and working with youth hockey players. 

"Connor is a driven young-coach who has achieved a great deal, including three OMHA championships, with the Whitchurch-Stouffville Minor Hockey Association," said General Manager Alex Guiney. "A proven winner, Connor will join Assistant Coach Josh Maguire on Head Coach Wes Wolfe's staff for the upcoming season."
