The Western Lacrosse Association and its member clubs are saddened to learn of the passing of two former players. We extend our condolences to the family and friends of John Swan and John Gilchrist, whose WLA careers ran from 1979 through 1990.

Gilchrist spent his entire Senior A career with the New Westminster Salmonbellies from 1979 through 1986, and in 1988.

Swan spent most of his career with the then Vancouver Burrards (1980 through 1985) with time spent with the Coquitam Adanacs (1979, 1990) and the Richmond Outlaws (1986-87).

Our thoughts are with their loved ones during this time.
