PANTHERS TO PLAY PIRATES IN EXHIBITION SERIES

Date:  Source: OHA Port Hope Panthers

The Port Hope Panthers return to the Jack Burger Sports Complex this month to host the Picton Pirates in a 3-game exhibition series, with all games to be played at the Jack Burger Sports Complex. The series will begin with Game 1 on Saturday, December 5th at 7:30 PM, with Games 2 and 3 to be played on December 12th and December 19th at the same time.

"We're very fortunate to have the support of the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit as well as the Municipality of Port Hope and Jack Burger Sports Complex in getting our players back on the ice against the Pirates, and other teams down the line," said General Manager Alex Guiney. "We've worked very hard since getting back on the ice in November to get to this point, and with the PJHL and OHF's approval of modified 5 on 5 rules we're looking forward to providing our players the opportunity to play meaningful games as we approach the PJHL's February start date."

Due to provincial gathering limits and COVID-19 protocols, walk-up ticket sales will not be allowed for any of the three games scheduled.
