Update to Myers Automotive AAA Hockey for 2020-21

Date:  Source: Ottawa AAA Myers Automotive

Due to the covid restrictions on traditional programming (ie regular season play), the AAA League with the 5 AAA associations are planning to proceed with the following non traditional programming beginning in August.

The AAA league will do conditioning and development sessions concluding with an invitation to 17-22 players per age group to form a bubble. This bubble will then continue development until such time as HEO (and other authorities having jurisdiction) allow 5-5 traditional programming.

Under the present limitations, Myers Automotive AAA are only able to invite specific cohorts of players for the formal Development & Conditioning Camp. At the U14/U15 level, the cohorts will consist of all returning players from the 2019-20 season as well as the affiliates from each team. The incoming U13 cohort will consist only of those players who were Minor Peewee AA with KMHA & NMHA during the 2019-20 season.

Once traditional programming is allowed to resume, the AAA league will conduct a coordinated tryout OPEN to all players, including those not part of the player Myer's bubbles, to create our rostered teams.
