The first week of baseball in the South Florida Collegiate Baseball League was a great start to the 2020 season. With it came some phenomenal performances from the Palm Beach Xtreme's catcher Anthony Ponce (Catawa College) along with Palm Beach Diamond Duck pitcher Ryan Watson (Auburn University).

Ponce went five for six at the plate in two games for the Xtreme this past weekend with one run, one RBI, a double and a walk over the course of the first weekend of play. Watson was stellar on the bump for the Ducks as he struck out five of the six batters he faced in two innings of work against the Pompano Beach Clippers on June 12.
