The Sunbelt Baseball League has closely monitored the spread of COVID-19 in the state of Georgia and its surrounding states, plus the impact of their decision to reopen, The information the Sunbelt League has obtained has made us make a choice to delay the start of the 2020 Sunbelt League Championship Season until June 15.  The 2020 season will be extended until August 9 to preserve the full 28 game schedule and a four-team playoff format.

The Sunbelt League is committed to the health and safety of its players, coaches, staff, and the fans. The Sunbelt League and will follow all guidelines provided by the state of Georgia to ensure the safety of those individuals involved.  We will also continue to communicate with our partners at Major League Baseball, the NCAA and the National Alliance of College Summer Baseball and provide any updates on any further changes regarding the 2020 season.

We are still taking player registrations at this time. To apply to play on a Sunbelt Baseball League team this year, click on the Registration tab and fill out the registration form there.

We are also still taking applications internships for the 2020 season. To apply, visit the SBL Internships tab on the website and submit a form.
