The Western Michigan University Stallions are happy to announce their fourth commitment to the 2020-2021 roster. We are welcoming Austin Selmi from Pinckney, Michigan, who previously played for the Pinckney Pirates high school hockey team.
Selmi is a family-oriented person who has morals built on trust and honesty. He was interested in Western Michigan University because of the hard work he has seen from the Stallions. He hopes to build his skillset and character on and off the ice.
Selmi wants to be known as a hard worker and wants to show young hockey players that the hard work really does pay off. His mom is his biggest inspiration and has taught Selmi to always stay determined.
20 years from now, Selmi hopes to be a successful businessman. He would like to encourage others to pursue their own path and wants to set an example to others for following their dreams.
