Per the decision made by the Southern Professional Hockey League, the Macon Mayhem have cancelled the remainder of the 2019-20 regular season and President’s Cup Playoffs as of Sunday, March 15. The Mayhem are in accordance with the league and the board of governors, who unanimously agreed that the safety of all players, staff, and fans is paramount in the wake of the coronavirus spread.

This decision did not come lightly, as the SPHL and its member-teams fully understand the passion our fans have for the sport of hockey. The financial setback stemming from the cancellation will also be significant, with business coming to a near complete halt in a very short period of time. However, the Mayhem organization is committed to ensuring the reimbursement of our fans who will not be able to enjoy the services they have patronized.

We appreciate your patience throughout this process as we wrap up our season in an unexpectedly short time frame. Please see below for answers to some frequently asked questions regarding the cancellation of the 2019-20 season.

I am a Full Season Ticket Holder. What should I do?

Season Ticket Holders have two options from which to choose regarding a refund on the two games remaining on their season tickets. All refunds must be requested no later than Monday, March 23rd at 5 pm.
