The Huntsville Havoc fell 4-3 Saturday afternoon to the Evansville Thunderbolts to move to 1-1 on the weekend. The Havoc won a 3-2 overtime contest Friday night in Macon before traveling back home to meet against the Thunderbolts.
John Schiavo played hero Friday night, assisting on the team's second goal and scoring the game winner with :21 on the clock in the overtime period. Kyle Sharkey and Ryan Verbeek started the scoring early for the Havoc, tallying a pair of goals in the first period. Max Milosek, who started both games in net for the Havoc, stopped 31 of 33 shots en route to the win.
Huntsville went 3-4 on power plays Saturday, netting goals from Tyler Piacentini, Sy Nutkevitch and Shawn Bates. Milosek gave up four goals on 27 shots faced.
