2025-2026 D1 Schedule Released

This past weekend the Lions had few boxes to check; beat a tough non-league opponent in Drexel, host their alumni, honor their seniors and get closer to a first round bye. Friday night they hosted the Drexel Dragons in the Lions last non-league game and the Dragons would draw first blood when Zach Messerle would convert a turnover into a goal less than three minutes in. The Lions would push back but they would not be able to solve Logan Kramsky in net who made 11 saves in the period. The second period started much like the first period did with Drexel getting an early goal when Josh Finlayson woulld put home a rebound, the lead would build to three when Simon Skala Rosenbaum converted on an odd-man rush. Later in the period TCNJ would finally solve Kramsky when Marc Tietjen and Travis Beni worked the puck to Kris Hastings for a shorthanded breakaway and he would go bar down to get the Lions on the board.
Unfortunately that would be the closest TCNJ would get as Kramsky would be the story the rest of the way, making 30 saves in the 3-1 Dragons win. Lions goalie Mike Lojewski was very good in the loss stopping 29 shots, the loss dropped his record to 9-8 and the teams overall record to 14-9-0-1.
