Dakota Lumberjacks Start Strong for a New Season

TROY, MI (November 29, 2019) – The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) has today released Ranking #4 of the 2019-20 season for Men’s Division 3, which lists the ranking of all eligible teams from each of M3’s North, South, Atlantic and Pacific regions. The following details the top 5 eligible teams from each region as of November 25, 2019.
North
University of Michigan (12-0-0) vaults into the top spot in the North region coming off a dominating sweep of Northwood. Hope College (13-2-1) is coming off a weekend sweep of its own against Calvin and holds on to the No. 2 position. Ferris State (12-2-0) is in the 3rd spot while Grand Valley State (14-4-0) remains No. 4 in the region. Michigan State (10-4-1) rounds out the Top 5 in the North.
South
University of South Carolina (12-1-0) is the new No. 1 in the South region this week. University of Tampa (14-3-1) remains at the No. 2 spot while Florida Atlantic University (13-2-1) dropped to the No. 3 spot in the region. University of South Florida (10-4-1) holds steady at the No. 4 spot while University of Georgia (9-4-1) comes in at No. 5 this week.
Atlantic
George Mason University continues to hold the top spot in the Atlantic region with a record of 7-1-0. Rowan University remains at the No. 2 spot with a 3-2-0 record while Dartmouth College (10-0-1) is No. 3 in the region. University of New Haven (7-3-0) finds itself in the No. 4 spot this week while U.S. Coast Guard Academy (4-3-0) rounds out the top 5 in the Atlantic.
Pacific
University of Arkansas continues to hold the No. 1 spot in the Pacific region with a 22-1-0 record. University of Nebraska (9-3-1) stays in the No. 2 spot and U.S. Air Force Academy (6-3-1) holds onto the 3rd slot in the Pacific. Missouri State University (7-5-1) jumps up into the No. 4 position, trading spaces with University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (11-5-0) which dropped a spot to No. 5 in the region.
The following poll is based on ACHA M3 teams that are eligible and in good standing as of November 25, 2019.
A number of teams have yet to submit their Fall 2019 eligibility forms and/or Annual Dues payments and are currently not eligible for Rankings and post-season play.
