SANFORD – Nick Lalpuis is the next Director of Broadcasting and Media for the Sanford Mainers set to begin for the 2020 season. Lalpuis is currently a senior at the University of North Texas where he will graduate in December of 2020. He is currently earning a degree in Public Relations with a minor in history.

At UNT, Lalpuis is the on-field emcee and marketing intern for the Mean Green athletic department. He helps produce in-game entertainment and promotions for football and men’s and women's basketball.

He is also a play-by-play broadcaster for GameOn Sports productions which covers high school and college level sports around the State of Texas. During the fall he is the play-by-play voice for the Parish Episcopal Panthers football team. In the Spring he is the voice of the Texas High School lacrosse league and the Highland Park Scots baseball team.

During the summer of 2017, Lalpuis was the media intern for the Texas Collegiate League champion Brazos Valley Bombers where he was the road voice of the team, while also hosting the pre- and post-game radio shows for all games. He also ran the teams social media accounts, wrote and distributed press releases following each game.

Lalpuis is very excited to spend the summer in the State of Maine and eager to provide the Mainers fanbase with quality broadcasting for the 2020 season.

Lalpuis is a Fort Worth native and a graduate of Byron Nelson High School. His favorite teams are the Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and the Detroit Red Wings.
