The Stallions travel to Kent State University this weekend for a pair of GLCHL league games against the Golden Flashes. Last season, the Stallions swept the Flashes in Kalamazoo, winning by scores of 4-3, and 3-1. 

Western comes off a weekend split against Illinois State University. The Stallions defeated the Redbirds 6-5 on Friday night, and fell 6-4 on Saturday in Kalamazoo. For Kent State, they split their home and home series with the University of Toledo, winning 9-4 at home on Friday, before falling 4-3 on Saturday in Toledo.
