Learn to Skate - Winter 2020 Program Breakdown:
 
 
 
Snowplow Sam - This program focuses on teaching preschool-aged children the skating skills needed to develop the preliminary coordination, balance, and strength to maneuver on ice skates. Learning through fun games, Snowplow Sam students are taught the proper way to fall and get back up, skate forward and backward, and glide to a stop in order to prepare them for more advanced skating skills.
 
Basic Skills - Balance, forward and backward skating, stopping, turning, and edges are all taught in the different levels of our Basic Skills Program. Progression through each of the Learn to Skate USA skill levels provides the basic skills necessary for more advanced skating disciplines such as figure skating and ice hockey.
