49 OJHL grads on NHL rosters this season

A week into the 2019-20 National Hockey League season and you’ll find a multitude of Canadian Junior Hockey League alumni on the 31 team rosters – including 49 from the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL).

There are a total of 121 alumnus, who played at least one CJHL regular season contest, currently on NHL rosters throughout the league.

The defending Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues boast the most former CJHLers with eight while the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers and Anaheim Ducks feature seven ex-CJHL players in the respective line-ups.

Of note, every NHL side boasts at least one former CJHL alum on their squad while each of the 10-member leagues that comprise the CJHL sport one, or more, of their former skaters that are holding down a spot on a NHL roster.
