Pregame activities
From 6pm-8pm we invite fans to check out the Burlington Fire Department's newly-minted pink wrapped fire truck. In collaboration with the City of Burlington, the Burlington Fire department is rolling out their Pink Truck campaign in support of the Canadian Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Go out and see what you think of the pink truck - provided they don't get called away!
Don't forget to bring your appetite to the rink! We'll have a spread of tasty treats available in our bake sale to help get you through those tense 3rd period moments. Proceeds from the bake sale will also be donated towards the Canadian Cancer Society as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Pink in the Rink Player Jersey Auction
We’re proud to once again host an auction for the Burlington Cougars player jerseys that will be worn during the Pink in the Rink game. Leading up to the week of the game, fans can bid for their favourite Cougar’s jersey. Following the game, each jersey will have a customized name bar put on it, chosen by the winners and who they’re battling for. We will then arrange to provide the jerseys to the winners, a Burlington Cougars souvenir with an added personal touch that will be sure to remind everyone of a great night and a great cause.
Bidding open: October 5th - October 21st - BIDDING IS NOW CLOSED - Thank you for your contributions!
Opening bid: $100/jersey
The winning bidder for each jersey will get to choose the name bar, who they’re battling for (it can be ANYONE, a cancer survivor, someone currently battling or honouring those who have been taken).
A brief description of who that player is honouring in the game will appear in our game day program on October 25th so our family, friends and fans can see who our players are honouring.
