Sunday night the Blenheim Blades opened their 2019-20 Provincial Junior Hockey League Stobbs Division regular season with a 2-0 win of the Wallaceburg Thunderhawks. On hand to officially kick things off was Laura Walker of the Ridge Landfill Community Trust - the Blades major ice sponsor - who dropped a ceremonial puck between Wallaceburg's Jake Vancoillie, left, and Blades captain Alex Cunningham.
