ELKVILLE, IL - The Prospect League Prospect(us) Player of the Day, is the Chillicothe Paints outfielder Trey Smith, from Sikeston, MO, a sophomore at the University of Indianapolis. In Game 3 of the Prospect League Championship Series against the Cape Catfish, at Capaha Field, in front of his family and friends, the Sikeston native hit a grand slam in the sixth inning to give the Paints a 5-2 lead and eventually the win over the Catfish, for the 2019 Prospect League Championship title.
