ELKVILLE, IL - The Prospect(us) Postseason MVP as selected by the Prospect(us) writers, is the Chillicothe Paints closer Nate Haugh, (0-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 SVs),  from Waterville, OH, a junior at the University of Toledo, who picked up two consecutive road saves, in two winner takes all contest including the save he earned on August 8, against the Danville Dans for the East Division Championship and the August 13th, Prospect League Championship game against the Cape Catfish.

Haugh earned two saves in the postseason against two potent offenses, pitching a combined four innings of no-hit baseball, striking out 10 of the 12 batters he faced to secure the East Division and the Prospect League Championship titles.

How dominate has Haugh been leading up to and in the postseason? Nate has not allowed an earned run in his last 16 appearances, including the two postseason games, dating back to June 28.

Haugh finished the 2019 regular season with a 1-2 record with a 1.82 ERA with 13 saves in 23 appearances, including one start and will likely win the Galen Woods Fireman of the Year Award.

Editor's note - Haugh is the Prospect(us) Pitcher of the Game, (08/13) as well as the Prospect(us) Postseason MVP.
