The WMU Stallions Hockey Club is proud to announce another commitment for next season, signing forward Joey Zappa from Port Huron, Michigan.

Joey has spent time playing for Port Huron Northern High School, before joining the Sarnia Legionnaires in the GOJHL. Last season, he started the season with Indiana Tech’s NAIA program, before finishing the season with the Windsor Aces in the GMHL.

During his time at Western, he hopes to win a national championship while studying towards his degree and meeting new people. In the time he has away from the rink, Joey enjoys playing video games, going to casinos, and spending time with friends. After college, he hopes to run a business, along with painting and helping his mom flip houses on the side.
