VALLEY BLUE SOX LOOK TO CLINCH NECBL PLAYOFF BERTH ON FRIDAY; ENDY MORALES TAKES MOUND IN GAME 1 OF A DOUBLEHEADER
 

HOLYOKE, MA -  The Valley Blue Sox look to advance to the NECBL Playoffs and defend their 2017 and 2018 NECBL Championships as they take on the North Adams Steeplecats in a doubleheader on Friday, August 2 which will determine their playoff fate.

 
Game 1 will get underway at 4:30 p.m. at Mackenzie Stadium with Holyoke native Endy Morales taking the hill for the Blue Sox.
 
Game 2 will begin at an estimated 7 p.m., or half an hour after the conclusion of Game 1.
 
The Blue Sox must finish 1-0-1 in Friday's games in order to qualify for the postseason and host a one game playoff against the Vermont Mountaineers on Saturday, August 3 at Mackenzie Stadium.
